2) una situazione temporanea generalmente espressa con:
this year= quest'anno, these days = in questi giorni, this week= questa settimana

3) un azione futura ma già programmata o prevista..In questo caso sia il presente italiano che quello inglese sono di solito accompagnatida avverbio di tempo come tomorrow, next week,e assumono quindi il valore di futuro
When are you leaving, Tom? I'm leaving next week
Quando partirai Tom? Partirò la prossima settimana
-----come già detto, in inglese la forma continua può essere usata solo con i verbi che esprimono azioni quali:
to eat mangiare
to watch guardare,osservare
to read leggere
to run correre

Non si usa con i verbi che esprimono:
